For now I’m moving my update journal back to my Livejournal Community. This is part of an effort of mine to keep all my online ‘things’ in once place >>

I will probebly use this blog in the future for a different project though.

Halloween Art Raffle – Win Original Artwork!

Win original marker artwork & commissions!
I’ve decided to have an online ‘raffle’ of sorts. You can win the original work ‘Witchy Woman’ (below) posted to you, as well as commission prizes!

* What can I win?

1st Prize -
- Original marker artwork ‘Witchy Woman’ this work was drawn on A5 size paper (approx 14.8cm x 21.cm) & coloured using pro & tria markers, pencil crayons & gel ink pen.
- 2 x ACEO (Art Card) commissions – original artwork on 2.3×3.5 inch card. Your choice of subject.

2nd Prize -
- 2 x ACEO (Art Card) commissions

3rd Prize -
- 1 x ACEO (Art Card) commission

As you can see, their are a lot prizes & a good chance of winning something!

* How do I enter the raffle?

Basically, you enter by doing the following. You get a raffle ‘ticket’ for each ‘link’, so the more you do the more tickets you get & therefore a higher chance of winning!:

- Link or feature on any blog or journal (eg: DA, LJ, blogger etc), linking to my DeviantART Gallery, Website or Etsy Shop – Heck, if you link all three you can have three tickets! Please leave a comment here so I know!

- Tweet a link to my Etsy
shop on Twitter. (Please @k_e_h or Direct Message me via Twitter)

- ‘LIKE’ my Facebook Page, KEH & leave a comment saying ‘raffle’ (or ‘+like’) on the top post (the Witchy Woman picture) that way I will know you are there. If you already like the page just leave a comment!

- Have a DeviantART account? Feature Witchy Woman in your DA journal, either via thumbnail or link. Let me know in a comment on this journal!

So you could potentially have 6 tickets just from doing the above!

* Links must be made between now & 12pm OCTOBER 30TH
Raffle will be drawn & OCTOBER 31ST

* Entrants will be drawn from folded papers in a hat. (possibly at a Halloween party!) Winners will be notified by how they originally contacted me to notify me of their entry.

Q = Can I get 5 tickets if I tweet about you 5 times/ mention you in my blog/journal 5 times? A = No.
Q = I don’t have a facebook/twitter/etc account? A = You are welcome to find other, suitable ways of entering. Bear in mind that the link needs to be public.
Q = I don’t want to give my postal address to you, can I still enter & get a prize if I win? A = See ‘special notes’ below :)

SPECIAL NOTES:
+ These prizes are to be posted out. In the case that you do not wish to give out your postal address you can still enter the raffle though! – In the event of a selected winner not wishing to give their postal address they can still receive commission scans via e-mail. In the event of the 1st prize winner not wishing to give postal address they can have online commission in the place of the original artwork, which will be sold.

+ In the case of there being LESS than 10 link entries the draw will not take place – each entry will receive a biro sketch as consolidation.

+ Please note: This raffle will also be being advertised elsewhere such as DeviantART.

I love a ladybug – Etsy Treasury

I made my first treasury on Etsy today – check it out here – It’s Ladybug themed, there are a lot of artists and crafters out there who have been inspired to make things adorned with little ladybugs :)

And of course, you neeeed to come & spend money in my shop! /desperation :o

New Header

I hope you like the new header illustration with added TEA! It’s also the new layout of my website tehkeh.com – go check it out :)

I’ve not been online so much recently due to ongoing computer problems, including losing my photoshop CD. Check out Pixlr.com, an online image editor which has been a lifesaver!

Other than that, I have been enjoying using Spotify ;)

Legion Of Kats bookmarks (round one!)

I made a simple set of four laminated Legion of Kats bookmarks – which are currently for sale in My Etsy Shop (if you buy three, you get one free!)

These are the first bookmarks I’ve made & I plan to make more – they are quite addictive! Here’s a video tutorial by Kerry’s Paper Crafts that I found very useful to make sure I was on the right track :)

Look what came to visit yesterday!
I tried to get in closer, but of course it flew off.

Meanwhile, I am now employed! Hooray! Just a little part time retail job to get me back into society & also to earn me some pennies. Plus it’s a job I’ll be able to keep when I return to college in September.

I also got a year older over the weekend. 28. How did that happen? D:

Green Alien/Elf Girl & some news about webcomics

I’ve been drawing ACEOs again, it’s another elf girl (or alien?) of the green varity, this time surrounded by blue stars. I used watercolours for the base & black marker on top. ~

Webcomics:
Due to all the important life stuff that is happening recently (preparing to return to work after being off ill for a year) and will be (hopefully!) happening in September (going back to college). Plus the other numerous distractions, uh, distracting me – I have decided to only update my online comics on Fridays from now on. My apologies to the readers, but I have missed a few updates recently which makes me feel guilty. This way you should get at least one update once a week – which is better than none, right?
In Neverfade’s case, I will be updating with at least one new page + however many pages I have managed to draw during the week :)
